About the Event

The ELLIS Pre-ICML 2026 Fest โ€“ Modena Unit is part of the ELLIS Sites ICML Fest 2026 (formerly called the โ€œPre-ICML Festโ€), a decentralised series of poster sessions hosted by individual ELLIS Sites across Europe in the weeks around the International Conference on Machine Learning (ICML) 2026.

Join us in Modena to celebrate and discuss cutting-edge research in Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and Artificial Intelligence. This local gathering offers an opportunity for the Modena ELLIS community and surrounding research ecosystem to connect, exchange ideas, and foster collaborations in an open and engaging environment.

During the event, participants will present posters featuring their most recent work โ€“ including accepted ICML papers, workshop contributions, and related AI research published in major venues (e.g.ย CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, ICLR, etc.).

What to Expect

The Modena ICML Fest will feature:
- Poster presentations of accepted ICML 2026 papers and related AI research.
- Informal discussions and networking opportunities among academics, students, and industry partners.
- A vibrant exchange across topics such as Vision-and-Language, Multimodal Learning, Generative AI, and Scalable Intelligence.

Researchers interested in presenting a poster are invited to register their submission by writing to lorenzo.baraldi@unimore.it.

Poster format: A0 (portrait orientation).

The ELLIS Sites ICML Fest 2026 runs from June 16th to July 24th, 2026, across multiple ELLIS Sites in Europe.
It provides a platform for ELLIS members to showcase their latest work โ€“ including accepted ICML conference papers, workshop papers, and contributions to other major conferences in the field.
